Tempered glass
Due to characteristics of the glass production process, the formation of small air bubbles in its interior cannot be completely ruled out, which guarantee the authenticity of the product and differentiate it from the aesthetic “perfection” of synthetic glass made from plastic materials.
Tempered glass is often referred to as “safety glass” because it complies with the EN 12150-1/2001 European standard and it can be used for assemblies requiring a type of glass offering superior strength and safety characteristics
In case of breakage
Corners/edges represent a weak point of the glass and should not be subjected to shock or impact. It is therefore recommended that close attention is paid to the characteristics of the installation site. In case of breakage, thermally tempered safety glass will “crumble” into numerous small and non-hazardous fragments, unlike untempered glass which breaks into sharp fragments.
